We are delighted to welcome our new SpecialistOrthodontist, Dr Samuel Reeves.
He is now accepting referrals at Alton Dental – Market Square for a full spectrum of orthodontic care for children, adolescents, and adults.
Originally from Kent, Dr. Reeves studied dentistry at Cardiff University before completing vocational training in general dental practice in Manchester. This was followed by a series of hospital posts gaining broad experience in orthodontics, paediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.
A passion for orthodontics led Dr. Reeves to undertake specialist training, including three additional years managing complex cases at King’s College Hospital and Sidcup Hospital. During this time, he was awarded the William Houston Gold Medal by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh for achieving the highest marks in the UK orthodontic specialty examinations.
Dr. Reeves previously worked as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, and has since returned to the region to pursue further consultant-level training in the management of the most complex orthodontic cases. He has published extensively in leading international orthodontic journals, presented at international conferences, and is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care, treating every patient as he would his own family.
